Nonpoint have announced that they have parted ways with co-founding member and bassist Ken MacMillan as well as guitarist Zach Broderick who joined the band in 2008. The band are currently working on their brand new album with over 20 songs currently written.

Nonpoint have announced that they will not be touring for the rest of the year as they focus on writing and recording their brand new album. The band will be back on the road in 2012 but they will be focusing on completing the album before they announce any date plans.

Nonpoint have announced that they are writing new material with the following update, “Writing away, lots of songs coming out. The vibe is cool and the songs are showing in them how cool the vibe is. More info to come in the next coming weeks.”

Nonpoint have revealed the official music video for their single ‘Frontlines’ which features off their 2010 album release ‘Miracle’.

Iron Maiden have been confirmed to headline Australia’s 2011 Soundwave Festival with other bands such as Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Slash, Rob Zombie also appearing on the line-up.Soundwave will take place on the following dates with ticket information available here.
